Impact Hub Berlin is looking for Community & Hospitality Working Student to create a welcoming atmosphere where members feel seen, supported, and inspired to connect. At the same time, you ensure smooth daily operations and strengthen the community through personal interactions, structured processes, and engaging programming.

Since 2014, we foster an impact-driven community, host a creative space for engaging events, and run social innovation programmes. We are Europe’s largest Impact Hub – a 3,500m2, circularly-built and run coworking space in Berlin, Neukölln – and we want you to be a part of making impact work.
Your deliverables
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere that helps members feel seen, supported, and inspired to connect.
- Ensuring daily operational excellence of the coworking space (cleanliness, supplies, atmosphere, readiness).
- Facilitating seamless member onboarding and offboarding through admin support and in-person guidance.
- Resolving day-to-day member inquiries across platforms (in-person, phone, email, online tools).
- Representing Impact Hub Berlin’s values by actively engaging with the community and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Monitoring and maintaining digital community tools, ensuring accurate member data and smooth functionality.
- Supporting community programming, from events to informal moments that deepen member engagement.
Your qualifications and skills
- Warm and proactive communication: ability to make people feel heard, informed, and welcomed.
- Detail-oriented organizational skills: keeps track of systems, tasks, and space operations without dropping the ball.
- Digital fluency: confidence using various digital platforms (CRM, Slack, Notion, etc.) to support workflows and community interactions.
- Service mindset: ability to empathize with member needs and respond in a calm, solution-oriented way.
- Time management: ability to prioritize and act effectively during peak and quiet times alike.
- Fluent in English and A2 / B1 in German is a must, fluency in both is a strong plus
- Community mindset: believe in the power of people coming together, and find joy in helping others connect.
- You are a student, preferably enrolled in a long-term degree program, and are able to stay with us for an extended period of time. If you are studying social sciences, tourism, hospitality, or event management, that's even better.

- Operations & Space Management: understanding how physical environments shape customer experiences and how to optimize them.
- Cultural Intelligence: learning to communicate across cultures in a diverse international community.
- Team collaboration: working with people from around the world across functions and formats to make things happen.
